We are really trying to find some people that will be able to meet with us more. We have some good work, but we can always look to keep improving as best as we can to help bring other unto Christ. We are really looking to just do our best to find some new people whether it be from older investigators, referrals, or any other way. The work is going good though, and we just have to keep pressing forward with faith in Christ. I really like a verse in first Nephi 4 that talks about this. This is when Nephi is going back once again to get the plates of brass from Laban. He says:

6 And I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do.

I really like this. He acted on a prompting from the spirit that brought forth soooo much good fruit. The Book of Mormon would be so different if we didn’t have the teachings from Isaiah or the scriptures that were brought over when Lehi and his family left for the promised land and inhabited the ancient Americas. It was all on that one prompting he acted on and on his faith. Sometimes we don’t know what lies ahead but it is continuing to have trust in Christ and keep stepping forward in faith even if beforehand we may not know the things we should do.

I also want to share a Mormon Message on fatherhood that I have watched this week that I really like: Earthly Father, Heavenly Father. Men on earth have the opportunity to become fathers and experience some of the same joys that our Heavenly Father feels for us and fatherhood is a divine responsibility to be cherished.

I really like this video and I am so thankful for my dad and all the things that he has done for me. I am thankful for my grandpas as well and the fathers they were. Happy Father’s Day to everyone out there and thanks for the things you all do.

Well I am out for this week! I will talk to you all later and hope to hear from you all soon. Sorry for the lack of pictures right now. Until next time!

Arrivaderci!

Anziano Garrett

[Another photo from last week’s trip to the Colosseum, from Sorella Kennedy’s blog]

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-371" class="size-medium wp-image-371" src="http://taylorgarrett.info/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Roma-1-District-at-Colosseum-300x225.jpg" alt="Roma 1 District at the Colosseum, June 15, 2015.
